Steam Launch Foundation.

Fix the Steam problems costing you the most before you commit more time, budget, or launch opportunities. Two fixed scopes. You contract one of them, and qualification decides which.

Built for

  • Solo developers and small teams, usually one to five people.
  • A first or second commercial Steam release.
  • A live or Valve-approved page, plus a build, demo, or meaningful footage.
  • Teams that can implement or approve changes quickly.

Two scopes, one path

Sprint or Full Foundation.

The Sprint is a constrained, implemented entry. The Full Foundation is a complete diagnosis with implementation and a roadmap. Nobody buys both at once.

Scope A

Foundation Sprint

$1,950
Prepaid · normally 7–10 business days

Three effort points of approved Steam page changes, done for you or delivered ready to publish. For pages with clear, narrow problems.

  • Three effort points of approved Steam page changes, implemented or delivered publication-ready.
  • A baseline captured before anything changes.
  • A one-page decision memo: what changed, why, and what to watch.
  • A prioritized list of the next three highest-value moves.
  • A 30-day before/after readout, labeled inconclusive if qualified traffic is too thin to judge.
  • One revision per included change. Every change is logged and reversible.
Scope B

Full Steam Launch Foundation

$4,500
Typically 3–4 weeks

The complete commercial foundation: diagnosis, positioning, implemented priorities, and a decision you can act on.

  • Focused commercial diagnosis of the game, page, and market position.
  • Market and comparable-game review: leaders, direct peers, and useful underperformers.
  • Build and page audit against category expectations.
  • Positioning refinement: promise, familiar category, difference, and message hierarchy.
  • Three priority improvements, implemented or delivered publication-ready.
  • A timing recommendation and a 30/60/90-day roadmap with owners.
  • A final decision workshop and a written proceed, test, reposition, delay, or reduce-spend recommendation.

A $1,000 Sprint credit applies toward a Full Foundation or Rebuild contracted within 30 days.

What three points buy

The Sprint effort menu.

Sprint changes are chosen from a fixed menu so the scope stays honest. Three points, one revision per change, existing assets only.

  • Trailer order correction1 point
  • First-four screenshot resequence1 point
  • Short-description rewrite1 point
  • Capsule crop and text-hierarchy adjustment1 point
  • Steamworks hygiene corrections1 point
  • Full tag rebuild from a comparable tag map2 points
  • Long-description restructure2 points
  • Screenshot replacement plan2 points
  • Localization into up to two languages2 points
  • Steamworks declaration audit2 points

Not included

  • New capsule illustration, trailer editing, broad creator outreach, festival applications, or ongoing campaign management, unless separately scoped.
  • A promise that page changes will create traffic or rescue weak demand. A better page improves classification, credibility, and conversion when qualified traffic arrives; it does not manufacture demand.
The boundary we work inside

ContentCrepe guarantees the defined scope, evidence standard, implementation responsibilities, and delivery process. It does not guarantee wishlists, revenue, reviews, coverage, virality, creator acceptance, festival acceptance, or Steam placement.

Limited budget, serious game?

The Indie Game Scholarship.

A small number of subsidized consulting engagements each quarter for teams that can execute but cannot currently access the scope their game needs. Selected engagements start from $4,500. Up to two places per quarter, some quarters none. No equity, revenue share, or IP claim.
